The OECD report praises the EU global leadership in development. It points to the innovative use of budget support and the EU’s efforts to leverage private sector investment. The EU also shows leadership in its ability to respond swiftly and extensively to crises through humanitarian assistance. However some challenges remain, the OECD says.
