This project improves the competitiveness of the banana industry in the face of the tariff preference erosion in the EU market, while ensuring its environmental and socio-economic sustainability in the long run. BAM Ghana will support the industry's efforts to adjust to this new context so as to ensure that Ghana is ready to face increasing competition and continues to play an important social and economic role in Ghana. This project will ensure that the production of high quality organic certified compost is increased with the view to attain the necessary inputs for the process of organic reconversion.
