CTA is recruiting a trainee for its Brussels Office. The position is open to ACP and EU nationals. A six months contract will be offered from October 2016. This contract can be renewed once for a maximum of 6 months. Further details on requirements and how to apply can be found in the note attached.
The CTA Brussels News Service is providing EU-ACP policy news since 2004, on various key thematic areas. In addition to this news service, we also provide news on ACP intra-regional trade, and south-south cooperation (investments of emerging countries' in agriculture in the ACP regions). The European Investment Bank (EIB) today announced a new EUR 30 million facility for the financing of private sector projects in Malawi with the National Bank of Malawi (NBM). The initiative, developed together with USAID and ACE, will enhance the access to finance for private sector companies and will primarily target the development of agricultural storage capacity in the country. As such it will contribute to key developmental priorities of Malawi, including private sector development, increased food security and reduction of poverty. Another main priority is support for higher resilience towards climate change by mitigating food supply volatility due to adverse weather events.

The delegation composed of seven parliamentarians was bid farewell at Luanda's "4 de Fevereiro" International Airport by a group of Angolan MPs and the German ambassador to Angola, Rainer Muller.
