EU Commissioner for Trade, Cecilia Malmström, met with ministers from African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP). The trade leaders discussed the strategy for the way towards the WTO 10th Ministerial Conference to take place from 15 to 18 December 2015 in Nairobi, Kenya. Speaking in front of the ACP assembly, Commissioner Malmström said, "This is a critical time for the WTO (…) I really wish for the EU and ACP countries to stand side by side in trying to steer the discussion towards tangible results. Expanding opportunities to trade through the multilateral system is crucial to foster development and prosperity.”
