Improvement good, but not enough

According to an article by The Parliament, European commissioners Kristalina Georgieva and Andris Piebalgs revisited the work that remained to be done to tackle the severity of future crises in the Horn of Africa.
In a joint statement, the commissioners underlined that despite visible  improvement , there is still much to do as "close to nine million people [are]  in need of humanitarian assistance". European commissioners conclude their statement saying: "We will work hard to ensure that the joint efforts of the EU, international community and national authorities lead to a better future for people living in these vulnerable areas."
