Conference to present future outlook of climate change agenda

According to recent updates by the ACP Secretariat, a global conference to be held in November will present the future outlook of the climate change agenda, with special emphasis on Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The conference, organised by Hamburg University, is set to take place entirely online.
Secretary General for the ACP Group,  Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas will be Patron for the event. Accordingly, he has stated:  “This year’s focus on the small island states is also particularly relevant for us because most of these states, if not all, are very vulnerable to the effects of climate change. We at the ACP support the unique concept of the conference, in our efforts to raise awareness about the specific opportunities and challenges faced in ACP countries, so that they are better understood.”
