Forum to help business benefit from Caribbean-EU FTAs

With the aim of helping business take advantage of Caribbean-EU free trade agreements, the Caribbean Export Development Agency (Caribbean Export), in partnership with the ACP Business Climate and the EU, will be hosting the 2nd CARIFORUM-EU Business Forum. The Forum, which is expected to take place in the United Kingdom in July 2012, comes primarily as a response to the lack of “outstanding” results from trade agreements signed by the parties almost 4 years ago  (October 2008).
Entitled “Making the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) Work”, the event is intended to raise awareness about trade deals and promote business opportunities within sectors that are readily positioned to do business in the EU. Entrepreneurs can participate by registering here by 30 April 2012.
