Addressing long term issues in humanitarian crisis

In the course of recent weeks, CTA Brussels has reported at some length on the alarming situation in the Sahel. International actors discuss ways to provide better assistance to the region's people, and organizations such as Oxfam stress that addressing the root causes and providing longer-term support are crucial to preventing further crises.
