A Dozen Dutch Investors to Attend Poultry Africa 2017 Expo in Kigali

Thirteen companies from Netherlands have announced their plan to attend the Poultry Africa 2017 expo and leadership conference that will be held in Kigali from October 4th. Their mission is organized by the Netherlands-African Business Council (NABC), the leading network of Dutch companies that do business with Africa, and has 350 members. A majority of them is active in the agricultural sector. During the conference, these companies will learn and build strong partnership with Rwandans in poultry sector. “During match-making sessions we will link companies that share the same interests with each other,” said Paul van de Ven, the mission leader of NABC. “Participants of the conference will be able to get in touch with companies active in poultry production that will be showcasing innovative solutions for the industry,” he added. Paul van de Ven revealed that there will be companies with various solutions including those that produce and sell feeds, slaughtering processing lines among others. Some of these companies include, GEERLOFS, MOBA, MAREL Poultry, Hendrix Genetics, Impex, Janssen Hatchery Service and many more. According to the communique released by the Rwandan Embassy in Netherlands, these companies were attracted by the presentation of Ambassador Jean Pierre Karabaranga who informed them about the investment opportunities in agriculture in Rwanda.
