In light of the 7th ACP Heads of State Summit, Dr Mohamed Ibn Chambas, Secretary General of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States recently met with the President of Equatorial Guinea, H.E Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, in Bata. The conference will be hosted by the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, and is scheduled to be held between the 10th and 14th of December, 2012.
According to the ACP Secretariat, the main topics to be discussed in December will focus on the implicationsof the global economic and financial crisis on ACP countries; South-South cooperation ACP with the BRICS; intra-ACP cooperation as well as several commercial aspects of ACP-EU relations.
